Deer Valley HOA Board Information
The DVHOA board consists of resident volunteers who are elected annually. We are friends and neighbors, just like you, who give a little bit of our time each month to help make our neighborhood a better place.

*The 2024 Annual Assessment will be $350.00 for the year January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. Your payment is due on March 1st, 2024, and any account with a balance remaining after March 31st, 2024, will be considered late. Delinquent accounts are subject to fees and interest, and any expenses incurred in the collection process will be assessed to the Owner.
What do my dues pay for? DVHOA annual dues pay for the following and more:
- Management Fees to take care of day-to-day operations and financials.
- Alabama Power to light our neighborhoods and streets.
- We contracted landscapers to ensure our subdivision and common areas are beautiful.
- Insurance, annual property taxes, repair and upgrade of common areas, and small fees associated with running DVHOA (newsletter costs, postage, website upkeep).
- Different projects were voted on by the board to improve the property value and aesthetics of our neighborhood.
What if I am just a renter and do not own the property? If you are currently a renter in the Deer Valley community, we ask that you forward any Dues, Statements, and DVHOA Documents to the owner of the property.
What happens if I don’t pay my dues? If annual dues payment is not made in a timely manner, DVHOA will turn your account over to an attorney and will be sent for collection.

Want to make changes to your home? You must get approval from the ARC - Architectural Review Committee.
Submit your architectural review requests, if your request comply with ARC bylaws, it will be approved by default,
if it is a special request outside of ARC bylaw, it will be sent to DVHOA board to motion and approve it.
