  • Dues/Payments.

    We are working to allow homeowners the ability check balances and pay dues online!

    2018 annual dues for Deer Valley are $295.00. This amount is subject to change annually as expenses increase. A budget is prepared in advance of the annual billing to ensure enough revenue to cover our community’s expenses.

     

    RESOLUTION FOR ANNUAL FEES:
    Dues will be active online starting January 17th 2019. Annual assessments are due on the first of February. Account is late after February the 28th. There is a 30 day grace period, and then a $25.00 late fee will be assessed each month following the grace period. If assessments and late fees are not paid within 90 days of grace period, the account can be turned over to a collections attorney for processing. Liens can be placed with the Jefferson County Probate Court on delinquent properties.

     

    What do my dues pay for?
    DVHOA annual dues pay for the following and more:

    • Management Fees to take care of day to day operations and financials.
    • Alabama Power in order to light our neighborhoods and streets.
    • Contracted landscapers to ensure our subdivision and common areas are beautiful.
    • Insurance, annual property taxes, repair and upgrade of common areas and small fees associated with running DVHOA (newsletter costs, postage, website upkeep).
    • Different projects voted by the board to improve the property value and aesthetics of our neighborhood.

    What if I am just a renter, and do not own the property?
    If you are currently a renter in the Deer Valley community, we ask that you forward any Dues, Statements, and DVHOA Documents to the owner of the property.

     

    What happens if I don’t pay my dues?
    If annual dues payment is not made in a timely manner, DVHOA will turn your account over to Edge Realty Group for collection.

     

    Edge Realty Group handles all monies received. Do not make any payments with Deer Valley Homeowners Association as you have done in the past. You can mail payments to Edge Realty Group or you can pay online below. Edge Realty Group mails coupon for dues in January of each year for the Feb 1st due date with a 30 day grace period after the 28th.

    Regular trash days are Monday and Thursday of each week. Recycle day is Wednesday of each week. Garbage & Disposal
