    The 2026 Annual Homeowners meeting is Tuesday, March 10th at 7:00PM at the Hoover YMCA.

    Noticed will be mailed out shortly (including balance sheet, invoice, and proxy ballots). You must be a member in good standing (all dues paid up to 2025) to vote. Additionally, we must have a quorum (10% of homeowners in attendance) to conduct business so please make every effort to attend!

    2026 Annual Dues

    2026 Dues are $365 and due April 30th, 2026.

    **Every homeowner should have received a "Welcome to Buildium Email" to sign in to your homeowners account. If you did not receive the email, its most likely because we do not have an active email on file for you and your property.     Deer Valley HOA Board Information

    The DVHOA board consists of resident volunteers who are elected annually. We are friends and neighbors, just like you, who give a little bit of our time each month to help make our neighborhood a better place.

  • Dues/Payments

    Please look for the newsletter and invoice for 2026 annual due in your mail, our due date for the year 2026 is April 30th, 2026

    What do my dues pay for? DVHOA annual dues pay for the following and more:

    • Alabama Power to light our neighborhoods and streets.
    • Water to maintain landpscaping and entrances
    • Landscaping to ensure our subdivision, common areas, and the parkway are maintained.
    • Insurance, annual property taxes, repair and upgrade of common areas, and small fees associated with running DVHOA (newsletter costs, postage, website upkeep).
    • Different projects were voted on by the board to improve the property value and aesthetics of our neighborhood.

    What if I am just a renter and do not own the property? If you are currently a renter in the Deer Valley community, we ask that you forward any Dues, Statements, and DVHOA Documents to the owner of the property.

    What happens if I don’t pay my dues? If annual dues payment is not made in a timely manner, DVHOA will turn your account over to an attorney and will be sent for collection.

    Want to make changes to your home? You must get approval from the ARC - Architectural Review Committee.

    Please login to our online portal in Buildium to submit a Maintenance request for your home. If your request complies with ARC bylaws, it will be approved by ARC committee. If it is a special request outside of ARC bylaw, it will be forwarded to DVHOA board to motion and approve it. Please email deervalleyhoahoover@gmail.com for assistance.

    Selling Your Home?

    Before closing, all homeowners must be current on all dues and clear of any liens and violations. It is the duty of the closing realtor(s) to ensure the new homeowners have copies of our bylaws and covenants. All homewoners are subject to following and maintaing our ARC Standards and Covenants.

    Garbage pickup is every Tuesday & Friday Morning. Additonally, Recycling is pick up in Friday as well. You may read more information and submit Requests for bulk items pick up through the My Hoover Connect app.
